Swept last week on UFC Vegas 57 and even mentioned Mateusz Gamrot as my bet in the opening lines. Delinquent MMA is on fire right now and I’m feeling another massive week for UFC 276 Israel Adesanya vs Jared Cannonier.
Struggling to find the words to write the breakdown for Holloway vs Volkanovski for a third time. I’ve had Holloway each time and I’m still convinced he won the rematch. Logically and financially, It doesn’t make sense for me to keep betting on the co-main.
Israel Adesanya (-365) vs. Jared Cannonier (+300)
After 2 rematches Israel Adesanya finally gets new blood in Jared Cannonier. In all honesty, there isn’t much to dissect with this breakdown, Vegas pretty much told us how the fight will play out.
Adesanya is the faster, more technical fighter and has a leg up over Cannonier in every department but power. To keep the main event short and sweet, Izzy is going to use his range to pick apart Cannonier and then go for the kill in the championship rounds.
Apologize but Vegas did most of the talking for this main event. Looking to play Israel Adesanya by knockout, the champ is due for one. Feeling a round 4 knockout.

Sean Strickland (-105) vs. Alex Pereira (-115)
Almost positive Dana White went on record and said the winner of Strickland vs Pereira gets the champion at 185 next. But I can’t seem to find that anywhere, could have dreamed it. If Alex Pereira wins, he might have the craziest path to a title shot.
With a combined MMA record of 5-1. UFC victories over Andreas Michailidis and Bruno Silva, and if he beats Strickland on Saturday, he’ll get a shot at the belt. We live in wild times. But the narrative makes sense, might as well give Izzy the one guy who has beaten him twice.
Pereira vs Strickland is going to be a brawl and Pereira is a much better and more proven striker. Strickland is originally a wrestler but I’m not concerned by his takedown threat. Pereira’s takedown defense held strong against Burno Silva, stopping 6 out of 8 takedowns.
Love Alex Pereira and by knockout. Pereira is going to be looking for the highlight real knockout especially seeing he can grab the mic and call Adesanya out.

Uriah Hall (+205) vs. André Muniz (-245)
I’m sick of betting on Uriah Hall, sick of hoping to see this fearless dynamic striker emerge from the shadows. Every time Uriah Hall fights the same narrative comes about, can he get out of his own head. If Hall gets out of his own head and trusts himself, he is one of the best strikers in the division.
Meanwhile, you and I have been sitting on our thumbs waiting for this guy to figure it out for almost 10 years. Can’t keep waiting around for Hall to overcome his fear of his shadow. It’s time for new blood in the middleweight division and André Muniz is exactly what we need.
Muniz is a monster on the ground. Besides his debut, he’s submitted each opponent in the first round. The only concern here is his chin, all of his 4 losses have come by knockout. When Muniz does get a hold of Hall this fight is over. Muniz by submission is (-110) if you want better value.

Brad Tavares (+105) vs. Dricus Du Plessis (-125)
I’ve been betting on Dricus Du Plessis since he debuted in 2020. If you go back to UFC Fight Island 5, Moraes vs. Sandhagen you’ll find the betting guide. Not linking it, the early posts on Delinquent MMA are extremely cringy.
But hey It’s 2 years later and I’m still here with an all-time 64.80% win percentage. Not many guys on the internet dishing away free gambling advice with this high of a win percentage. Blows my mind that people spend money on picks. Don’t pay for gambling advice, just join the Delinquent army.
Figured I’d honor the breakdown of Du Plessis I once wrote 2 years ago by admiring how far Delinquent MMA has come. Give me Du Plessis straight up, great value on this line. If you are hunting for value take Du Plessis by knockout. These last two sentences alone are longer than his first breakdown.
